Across #Sudan, 25 million people are acutely hungry, with famine already confirmed in several areas. From Khartoum, WFP’s Assistant Executive Director Valerie Guarnieri explains how WFP & partners are reaching millions of people across the country. Better school attendance, stronger child nutrition, support for smallholder farmers, local jobs, planet-friendly diets and lower carbon footprints. 🤝 In recent years, WFP’s role has shifted from delivering meals to empowering governments to launch and run their own national programmes.
