Born in 1966 in Belluno (Italy) Mario Arquilla graduated in the University of Padova in Electrical Engineering. He has almost twenty years experience in the hydroelectric sector. He started his career as researcher and then as scientist at Ontario Hydro Research Division (Toronto - Canada) and at Mc Master University (Hamilton – Canada) in the Engineering Physics Department, responsible for international research projects in the energy sector . In 1995 together with other colleagues he started STE Srl. He designed and managed the construction of several hydro power plants in Italy and abroad. He covered several managing and operative positions during the growth of the company; he has been Managing Director of STE, and since 2007 he is President and Chairman of the Board of STE Energy and CEO of its hydro business. He is in Board of Directors of several foreign branches of STE Energy. He is contract Professor at the University of Padova in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering since 2000. He is in the board of many national and international industrial associations. He has published several papers in international journals and reviews in the energy sector.
