I am a science writer. Currently I am editor in chief at Enel Insieme, the corporate house organ. Enel is Italy’s largest power company, and Europe’s second listed utility by installed capacity. It produces, distributes and sells electricity and gas across Europe, North and Latin America.
I am also author and host of a tv program broadcasted on Enel web TV: it's a press review about science, technology, environment and energy.
In the past I worked at Zadig, the most important Italian press agency specialized in science, health and environment. I am a contributor journalist for Agenzia Italia (AGI), Panorama, Il Messaggero, Il Mattino, L'Unità, Mente e Cervello, Newton, Radio Svizzera Italiana, Illywords.
For Zadig I am manager of many science communication projects.
I also work as media strategy planner for Circe project (www.circeproject.eu), an EU funded project devoted to research on climate change on Mediterranean area, and for the Health and Prevention Department of Policnico Tor Vergata in Rome.
I have been Head press officer for International School for Advanced Studies (Sissa) of Trieste (www.sissa.it) and for Italian Phd Canditates Association (www.dottorato.it). I worked also as communication consultant for Centro Euromediterraneo per i Cambiamenti Climatici (Cmcc).
I have been editor in chief of magazine Sissa News.
Since 2004 I am the organizer of the Giovanni Maria Pace Prize for the best Italian science book promoted by International School for Advanced Studies of Trieste.
I wrote two books: Qualcosa di inaspettato (Laterza), a biography of the Italian astrophysicist Margerita Hack, and Scienziati di ventura (Cuec), 20 stories about brains on the run (http://scienziatidiventura.blogspot.com).
I teach in some science communication courses.
