Actively involved with bioinformatics since 2004, I have worked in several different companies, principally developing bioinformatics software, to support research projects and activities. I have a strong biological background, focused in particular on genomics and proteomics, but I have also a good experience with informatics and programming. As a bioinformatician I am responsible for the development of large biological databases and I have covered the position of system and network administrator for a private bioinformatics company. My working environments are Mac OS X and Linux Debian, my favorite programming language is Ruby.
